1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ritly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Ritly ("we," "us," or "our").
2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- • Install and use Ritly on iOS devices you own or control
- • Access features according to your subscription tier (Free or Premium)
✗ License Restrictions
You may NOT:
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
- • Remove or alter copyright notices or trademarks
- • Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- • Circumvent subscription limits or payment systems
- • Share your account with others
3. Account Registration
Account Creation
You must create an account using:
- ✓ Apple Sign In (recommended)
- ✓ Email/Password authentication
Your Responsibilities
- • Maintain credential confidentiality
- • Take responsibility for all account activities
- • Report unauthorized access immediately

5. User Content
🔒 You Own Your Data
You retain all rights to your trip data, including:
- ✓ GPS routes and location information
- ✓ Trip categories and notes
- ✓ Vehicle information
- ✓ Custom categories

GPS accuracy may vary based on device, location, and weather conditions. You are responsible for verifying trip accuracy for tax purposes.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use Ritly to:
- ❌ Violate any laws or regulations
- ❌ Infringe intellectual property rights
- ❌ Transmit malicious code
- ❌ Harass or harm others
- ❌ Collect data about other users
- ❌ Impersonate others
- ❌ Interfere with App security
- ❌ Gain unauthorized access
7. Intellectual Property
Ritly and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, trade secret laws, and other intellectual property laws.
Trademarks
"Ritly" and associated logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

- • No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
- • No guarantee of GPS accuracy for tax compliance

YOU are responsible for verifying trip data accuracy, consulting with tax professionals, and complying with local tax laws.
10. Limitation of Liability
Liability Cap
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium subscriptions in the past 12 months, OR €100, whichever is less.
We Are NOT Liable For:
- • Lost profits or revenue
- • Lost data or opportunities
- • Indirect damages
- • Tax penalties or fines
- • GPS inaccuracies
- • Consequential damages
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:
- • Your use of the App
- • Violation of these Terms
- • Violation of any rights of others
- • Tax disputes related to mileage claims
12. Term and Termination
You Can Terminate
- • Delete account in Settings
- • Uninstall the App
- • Cancel subscription anytime
We May Terminate If
- • You violate these Terms
- • Fraudulent activity detected
- • Required by law
13. Governing Law
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of:
- • The Netherlands (primary market)
- • European Union regulations (GDPR)
Apple App Store Terms
- • These Terms are between you and us, NOT Apple
- • Apple is not responsible for the App
- • Apple has no support obligations
- • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
